Georg entered the GrECo Group in 1986. He has been Executive Board Member of GrECo International Austria from 2004 to 2011. Since 2009 he has been a member of the Executive Board of GrECo International Holding.
Georg Winter
CEO
Following the studies of Industrial Engineering at the Vienna University of Technology and an engagement abroad, Georg started in the insurance industry as a Risk Consultant at Aon in 2004. In 2009 he became Head of the Global Business Unit at AON in Vienna. In 2011 he joined the GrECo Group and was responsible for Risk & Insurance Technique in 16 markets in CEE/SEE/CIS. Since 2012 he has been Member of the Executive Board and Chief Technical Officer of the Group, in 2022 he became CEO. He is also Certified Risk Manager according to ONR 49003.
Ante Banovac
COO
Ante has a degree in General Management and is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK). In 1995 he started his career at Nuernberger Allgemeine Versicherung in Munich. In 2000 he founded Apollo Insurance Solutions and acted as a Managing Partner. From 2010 to 2014 he has been Managing Director of a retail company in Italy, then he joined GrECo as Market Coordinator SEE. In 2018 he became Head of Group Sales & Market Coordination. Since 2022 he has been COO of the GrECo Group.
