GrECo Specialty Launches Marine Entity in Croatia: Strengthening European Marine Insurance Expertise

The new marine entity will operate as a Marine Specialty Branch under GrECo Specialty GmbH.

GrECo Group, the leading independent risk consultant and insurance broker in Central and Eastern Europe, is delighted to announce the opening of a new GrECo Specialty branch office, dedicated to marine insurance, in Poreč, Croatia. This step is part of GrECo’s ongoing specialisation strategy and marks the arrival of Marijan Dželalija and his team of experienced experts, starting December 2025.

The new marine entity will operate as a Marine Specialty Branch under GrECo Specialty GmbH. It will provide tailored insurance solutions for pleasure yachts, ports, freight handlers, cargo ships, and other specialised marine risks. GrECo Marine will serve clients across Europe.

Marijan Dželalija, General Manager of the new branch, said: “We are excited to join GrECo Group and launch a dedicated marine entity in Croatia.
