Five external thought leaders anchor the edition, each offering a distinct view of what courageous leadership demands in practice.

The new edition of HORIZON 2026 brings together perspectives from across Europe around one central idea: the courage to transform. HORIZON #Courage examines how organisations can challenge established thinking, make considered decisions under uncertainty and turn change into meaningful progress.

Five external thought leaders anchor the edition, each offering a distinct view of what courageous leadership demands in practice. They are Rytis Ambrazevičius, President of the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance; Alex Sidorenko, Group Head of Risk, Insurance and Internal Audit at Serra Verde; Verena Kuen, founder and CEO of 1030 Innovation Partners; Colin Lovering, business and people performance consultant and author; and Dr. Vladimir Preveden, founder of VP Strategy and faculty member at the WU Executive Academy.

Their keynote perspectives are joined by contributions from business leaders, industry experts and GrECo specialists, creating a broader conversation about courageous leadership across risk, resilience, transformation, people and sustainability.

As Georg Winter, CEO of GrECo Group, writes in his editorial introduction:

“The future favours the brave. It favours those who dare to step forward when others hesitate, who choose vision over comfort, and who see courage not as a momentary act but as a way of leading.”

HORIZON #Courage invites leaders to question familiar approaches and consider how clearer decisions, stronger resilience and purposeful transformation can help their organisations respond to uncertainty.

We have created HORIZON as a platform for sharing the latest insights about ongoing transformations. Our risk specialists will continue to provide their expertise and knowledge to shine a light on the challenges of the future.
