Our Leadership

As an owner-managed company GrECo is renowned for its reliability, stability and independence. The founding pioneer Friedrich Neubrand sr, his sons Georg and Friedrich jr., as well as grandson Markus are part of the family team.

Friedrich Neubrand sr was at the helm of the group for more than 40 years and has stepped back into the role of owner. His son Friedrich Neubrand jr. is Chairman of the Supervisory Board and is mainly responsible for the strategic development of the Group.

Georg Neubrand heads the Finance & Administration department, while Markus Neubrand,  head of Mergers & Acquisitions, is leading the charge in growing GrECo’s presence across CEE.

Georg joined the GrECo Group in 2011 taking charge of Risk & Insurance Technique across 16 markets in CEE. In 2012, he became a Member of the Executive Board and Chief Technical Officer, and in 2022, he ascended to the role of Group CEO.

Ante joined GrECo in 2014 as Market Coordinator for SEE, and in 2018, he was appointed Head of Group Sales & Market Coordination. Since 2022, Ante has been leading the GrECo Group as COO.

Georg Neubrand

CFO

Georg has been a pivotal member of the GrECo Group since 1986. He served as an Executive Board Member of GrECo International Austria from 2004 to 2011 and has been a member of the Executive Board of GrECo International Holding since 2009.

The GrECo Academy, established in partnership with Johannes Kepler University, focuses on the professional and personal growth of our employees. We offer training courses to students, clients, and business partners, promoting scientific cooperation and knowledge exchange in the insurance field.
