For many years we have been refraining from giving Christmas presents to our clients and partners and instead are supporting projects within our GrECo Foundation.
The GrECo Foundation supports socially disadvantaged children and young people in various learning projects, such as supplying study materials, afternoon care, workshops and excursions in 18 countries.

Floods in Central Europe
Following the catastrophic floods in Central Europe, the GrECo Foundation decided to donate money to provide shelter, food, and medical supplies to those in need.
Applestrudel baking with Vollpension
Participants of our annual Group Conference baked their pastry with grannies from Vollpension: Active involvement in our society at an older age, self-empowerment through a purposeful activity instead of old-age poverty, and dialogue between generations. The remaining apple-strudels have been donated to the Gruft – daycare centre for homeless people.
Franz Hilf!
Franz Hilf – Franciscans for People in Need is an internationally active Franciscan aid organisation based in Vienna. This year we supported their charity concert for an Albanian children’s home.
Support at a Distance by GrECo Sagauta
GrECo Sagauta employees walked 30 million steps, which turned into financial support for the Vilnius Archdiocese’s (VA) Caritas project “Support at a Distance.” The GrECo Foundation will provide this support to children experiencing social exclusion to help them develop their talents and abilities and to rebuild their confidence in themselves and others.
Bulgarian Day Center “Workshop for Dreams”
The GrECo Foundation also supported the Dream Workshop day center. This organisation was established in 2008, thanks to many efforts united in one: care for children and youth with various specific needs and supportive care and attitude to their families.
Foundation “I Will Become an Ironman, or at least half” in Poland
The goal of this foundation is to help people with intellectual disabilities fulfil their dreams. They help people with disabilities start, create convenient conditions for training and provide the best equipment. The GrECo Foundation donated money for one of their projects.
Caritas prework Wood and digital studio
In the job training project, young people who have not yet made the step into apprenticeship training and thus the labour market find their first job. The work training programme supports young people in gaining positive access to training and work.
Licht ins Dunkel
Licht ins Dunkel is a nationwide traditional Christmas charity in Austria that helps children and young people in need. We have supported these activities for many years.
