GrECo’s Carriers- Forwarders and Logistics Policy

We have developed a new insurance policy for international transport, which covers also the usual gaps in the typical policies available on the market.

The main benefits for you are:

  • The companies insured are road carriers, forwarders and warehouse keepers. Insured contracts (according to the risks analysis form) are road transport contracts, forwarding contracts, storage contracts, and logistic contracts (if agreed).
  • The liability of the policy holder’s company and also their employees are insured. If subcontractors are used, the insurance cover shall also extend to the liability of the insured party for acts and omissions of such third parties provided that the insured party is liable for subcontractors.
  • If necessary, an average agent, an expert or a lawyer will be instructed by the insurer. The cost of this as well as the costs for court cases will be covered by the insurer.
  • Various costs will be reimbursed, such as the prevention, reduction, and determination of a claim; costs for salvaging cargo, reloading, temporary storage, and for onward transport. The loss of / damage to trailers, swap trailers, containers etc. owned by third parties is insured if they are included in the transport order.
  • Excellent support from GrECo is always granted.
