Could you tell us a bit more about your new position at GrECo? What will be the main area of your focus?

The main area of my focus will be continuing growth, support, and business development of the three main pillars of our specialty best practice: Trade Credit, Sureties, and Special products in Trade Credit.

What made you choose to become a part of the GrECo in the first place?

Vodička: I chose this job based on recommendation, and it brings me the opportunity for further professional growth and personal development. I’m motivated to learn new things which this job brings and also take on new challenges where I can use my rich experience from previous work to go through them. I also like our company’s culture, international environment and values.

How has your career path looked until this point?

Vodička: I spent nearly 16 years in the multinational broking company as the Trade Credit specialities leader for the Czech Republic and I was also involved in trade credit opportunities in Slovakia. I was responsible for sales, development and account management of local and global clients in Trade Credit & Political Risk.

Which challenges do you expect in your new role?

The ability to speak our client’s language define the client’s risks and find the right tailor made solutions is always a big motivation for me. A satisfied client and the end can bring us also new relationships and opportunities.

Could you tell us a bit more about yourself outside of work? How do you like to spend your free time?
