Iva Rogovic-Lekic joins the management board and Josip Malenica will lead the reinsurance placements
GrECo, the leading independent risk consultant & insurance broker in CEE, is delighted to announce a significant enhancement to its Specialty division’s management structure, effective from 10 November 2024. This strategic initiative underscores our unwavering commitment to advancing our specialty approach and expanding our manifold capabilities.
We are pleased to welcome Iva Rogovic-Lekic to the Specialty management board. Iva brings a wealth of expertise and leadership experience, having served as the CEO of McLennan Croatia since 2019. Her distinguished career began in the aviation sector before transitioning to the insurance industry, where she held pivotal roles at Triglav, various brokerage firms, and served as Vice President of the Brokers Association Croatia. Iva’s appointment is a testament to our dedication to fostering a diverse leadership team from across our region, reflecting our inclusive approach. Additionally, we are excited to announce that Josip Malenica will be joining GrECo as a Head of Reinsurance. Josip will play a crucial role in strengthening our reinsurance business, which is of significant importance for the whole CEE region.
In the new management setup, Iva Rogovic-Lekic will collaborate with Zviadi Vardosanidze in leading the Specialty division. Zviadi, who has been an integral part of the Specialty management board for many years, will continue to lead the areas of Risk & Insurance Technique as well as Operations, while Iva will be responsible for overseeing Sales & Service Delivery.
Richard Krammer, the second current general manager, has decided to leave the company at the end of this year to pursue a new and challenging role at a large European construction company. Richard has been instrumental in pioneering our Specialty division, starting as our first Practice Leader in Construction & Real Estate. We extend our deepest gratitude to Richard for his invaluable contributions in establishing and nurturing the Specialty approach at GrECo and wish him every success in his future endeavors.
Iva expressed her enthusiasm about joining GrECo, stating, “I am thrilled to join GrECo and look forward to further developing the Specialty approach. I will focus on leveraging my strengths in aviation, energy, and reinsurance. I am grateful to GrECo for this incredible opportunity.”
