Ukraine’s transplant system continues to show resilience and progress, even under extraordinary pressure. In the first half of 2026, 327 organ transplants were carried out across 21 medical facilities – more than in the same period last year. Kidney transplants accounted for the largest share, followed by liver and heart transplants.
Donors account for nearly three-quarters of all transplants
